Ajang penghargaan Golden Globes akhirnya kembali dengan menampilkan deretan film yang penuh keragaman dan banyak dicari seperti “The Banshees of Inisherin” dan “Everything Everywhere All at Once” serta serial TV “The White Lotus”, “Better Call Saul”, dan “Abbott Elementary” menduduki nominasi teratas.
Sebagai upaya untuk menebus diri dari skandal “penyimpangan etis dan kurangnya keragaman” di tahun 2021, Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HPFA) kini berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan keragaman di antara nominasi. Tahun ini, lembaga tersebut telah memasukkan nama dua orang yang relatif tidak dikenal seperti Diego Calva dari “Babylon” karya Damien Chazelle dan Dolly de Leon dari “Triangle of Sadness”, pemenang Palme d’Or karya Ruben Östlund.
